Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship, Economics and Education
Government legislation states, all schools should make provision for personal, social, health, and economic education (PSHEE). Schools are free to include other subjects or topics of their choice in planning and designing their PSHEE programme of study. At Oak Lodge we have incorporated Citizenship to our PSHEE programme of study therefore changing the name to PSHCEE.
Sex and Relationships is statutory and must be taught in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Personal & Social development
- Health Education
- Sex and Relationships Education (SRE)
- Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco Education (DAT)
PSHCEE Curriculum Outline
The PSHCEE curriculum incorporates a number of different topics. Some of these topics will be one offs, some will have themes that will be revisited and built upon later and some will be progressive throughout each year of your child’s education, for example Sex and Relationships Education.
Each topic will be assessed through outcome, set tasks, homework, presentations and self and peer evaluations.
